Simple introduction of GA-3 in MIMUNC

 

“Internet” is a common topic in our daily life. It has exerted a fundamental influence and brought profound changes to the whole world, facilitating the global spread of information with an unprecedented efficiency. However, it is very frequent that some bad information can spread quickly over the world by the internet. Therefore, to talk something about internet censorship is quite necessary. At the meeting, we discuss several aspects of this topic. First, delegates of several countries give a speech about their countries’ positions. We also talk about the relationship between religious problems and internet censorship. The co-operations and conflicts between governments and companies is also the range of our discussion. These are a few parts of our conference, there are more wonderful speeches.

Because of NIMUNC, I actually learn a lot about other countries’ internet censorship. It is really an unforgettable experience I’ve never experienced. There, not only is my horizon broadened, but also I make some friends. I am a lucky dog to have this chance.

“网络”是我们日常生活中一个十分普通的话题。它对世界产生了根本的影响，为整个世界带来了深刻的变化，促进全球信息以前所未有的效率传播。但是，通过网络在世界范围内传播一些不好的信息是经常发生的，所以，对于网络审查制度有一个讨论是十分必要的。在会议上，我们交流了与这个话题有关的许多方面的东西。首先，众多国家的代表上台表明了自己国家的立场。我们又相继考虑和探讨了宗教问题和网络审查制度的关系，以及政府与企业在网络审查制度上的合作和冲突。这些只是我们会议的一部分，其实还有更多的精彩！

 

因为南京校际模联，我真真实实地学到了许多关于其他国家网络审查制度的知识。这真的是一个我从未有过的十分难忘的经历。在这里，不仅仅是我的视野得到拓宽，更重要的是我交到了一些朋友。能有这样的机会，我是一个幸运儿。

外面的舞台很精彩

进入模联已有1年的时间了，但这次南外模联却是我第一次参加正式会议。大家抖擞的精神，闪光的双眸，犀利的发言都给我留下了深刻的印象。在会场中，我们唇枪舌剑，在宾馆中，我们积极准备。在联合国第三会场里，作为马来西亚的代表，首先，我深刻了解了一个以前从未留心关注的国家；其次，我与其他国家的代表，比如美国、英国、叙利亚等等，成为了会场的合作伙伴，平时的朋友。这也是模联的魅力所在。感受最深的还是其他代表们的英文发言水平和敏捷的思维，这让我充分看到了自己的不足，让我知道了我今后应该努力的方向。总之，模联让我收获良多。

 

The stage outside is quite wonderful

I have been in MUN for nearly one year, however, it is my first time to take part in the official conference which is held by Nanjing Foreign Language School. It left a deep impression on me because of all the delegates’ enthusiasm, shining eyes and sharp statements. At the meeting, we discussed quite fiercely; In the hotel, everyone of us prepared the meeting positively. As a delegate of Malaysia in the General Assembly-3, I have known a country that I had ever paid attention to before. In addition, I made friends with the delegates of other countries, such as USA, UK and Syria and we were partners. This is also the MUN’s charm. What made me most shocked was other delegates’ level of spoken-English and quick thinking. Therefore, I began to know my weakness and the direction I would work towards. Overall, MUN makes me learn more.
