2009年AFS中国文化国际夏令营续篇之十五――安娜来电

    日前，09国际夏令营美国带队老师安娜发来电子邮件，表达了她这次中国之行的感受。现全文刊登如下：

Hello Qi,

      I am at home and caught up on my sleep.  It was a long 38 hours to get here!   Tonight I will have friends over to share stories and pictures.  Next week I will have friends for dinner and, of course, will make dumplings! 

My principal has asked me to do a presentation about my trip.  People are very curious about China

   Thank you for all your help.  The group had a wonderful experience.  If they didn't ，it was their own fault.  There are bumps in the road of life, the challenge is to make it work. Hopefully they learned about China, its people and culture.  I also hope that they learned about themselves and their own culture.   Americans often don't realize their fortune in daily life. I personally enjoyed my stay with the exception of the heat!!

  Many young Chinese students have begun to email me.  They want to practice their English and that is fine with me.  Many have asked to contact them on QQ，but I can only see it in Chinese so it is a problem.

Do you think it can be seen in English?

   If you wish to send me the picture file when you are done I can forward it to the whole group. You don't need to send it to individuals.

   I will be in touch.  Now I have to begin to help with the new AFS students who are just arriving. Thank you again for your help.

我已到家并补了觉。这是一次长达38小时的回国旅行。今天晚上，我要请朋友来分享（我在中国）的故事和照片。下周我请朋友吃饭，当然要包饺子。我的校长已经向我提出要求，要我作一次中国旅行的报告，这儿的人（波士顿）对中国非常好奇。

感谢你的所有帮助，美国营员们经历了一次愉快的体验。如果他们没有愉快的体验，那是他们自己的问题。人生道路上总有磕磕绊绊，要勇于去战胜它。希望他们了解了中国、中国人民和中国文化。我也希望他们了解自己和自己的文化。在日常生活中，美国人往往意识不到自己（作为美国人）的幸运。除了炎热的天气，我本人过得也很愉快。

许多年轻的中国学生开始发电子邮件给我，他们想要练英语，我觉得很好。许多学生要我用QQ和他们联系，但问题是我只能看到中文的，你认为能使用英语吗？

如果你打算寄照片光盘，我可以转交给他们，你不必一一邮寄。
